This weekend, I was part of a
workshop calledThe Tao of
Daily Livingwhere different
teachers cover different topics. I was honored to talk about the Tao of daily
business. How would these topics go together?
My teacher, Master Sha, teaches
that the Tao is the Source, the Creator. Tao is the Universal Laws and
Universal Principles. Therefore, inherently Tao isthe way of all life.One of the key universal laws Master
Sha delivers is the universal law of yin and yang.
As one of his business team members and students and disciples, I have learned
a lot from Master Sha about business. How he does everything inalignment withthe Tao, with the source. The Tao
divides into yin and yang. The yin being the morefeminine, yielding, quietnature and element. Yang being theovert, active,very overtlyengaging, dynamicaspect of life. These suggest very
few words to create some description and distinction between the two forces,
two elements, two principles.
What many people do not realize
that since the yin and yang concepts are universal law, that absolutely every
aspect of life can becategorizedeither yin or yang, including our
daily business. Our company has aspects and elements that either more yin or
more yang. Nothing is ever either or because within the yin there is yang and
within the yang there is yin. If you know the yin-yang symbol, the black and
white symbol, you know it from the picture. If you don't know the picture,
that's okay. You just can hear thatwithin
one there is the other also. It is not exclusive by nature.
How we apply this into our
business and how we can benefit from this universal law of understanding it or
having any concept of it is that we cananalyzeour business. We can assess our
business and understand that, for example, business planning can be more yin in
nature. The execution of the plan is more yang in nature because it's
outworking, reaching out, going out, engaging in the world.
You could say marketing is more
yang because it's very similar in nature and you could say customer service is
more yin. These are very gross categorizations on a very high level. Even in
marketing, within marketing there is yin and there is yang, dependshowyou look at it and how youbreak it down.
I invite you to think about for
your daily businesswhatis more yin and what is more yang?
Why is thismeaningful?
This is for you. I invite you toself-assess.
What are the aspects that come to youmore
naturally, more easily? What do youlikebetter is a good indicator. What is it
that you feel perhaps that you prefer somebody else would do or youfeelyou just don't really know how to
do it or just doesn't flow as easily so it doesn't come as well as the other
parts?
These are the things to assess,reflectand identify. In this way, you can
start to look at which aspect of your business flow well andflourishand where are, perhaps, the
developmentopportunitiesfor you. Today, this is just some food
for thought and we'll continue further and more next time.
Following nature's way is to follow the Tao. The Tao is the Source, the way of all life. It is the Universal Laws and Universal Principles. It is to have balance, harmony and flow naturally like a dance of all participants.

Today is Friday, just a couple of
days before Mother's Day. On tv.drsha.com where I teach Monday
through Friday every morning, 7:00 am
PT, I was connecting today with the mothering
aspect of our being, with the aspect that is nurturing, caring, nourishing. In the world of yin and
yang, it would be the yin aspect.
The yin and the yang are aspects of
the Tao, which is the Source and the
Creator. The Source, the Tao is also the universallaws and universalprinciples.
The yin and yang are a big universal law. We need both always.
Many of us have challenges in either receiving,
nurturing and caring, and at times we have challenges in offering that. Today, we were exploring where it is that our dailybusiness really needsthis. Of course, it's easy to say that
our clients, our customers need that, but what are some of the other aspects? Maybe our colleagues,
our team members, relationships in general.
I wanted to pause today and invite you to explore
this aspect, that where is it that your daily business could perhaps have more
or differentkinds of nurturing, caring for it to flourish better or more, whatever the case may be.
I invite you to reflect upon this foryourself. You can do a little exercise
for yourself or you can sharehere on the blog.
Finally, I'd like to offeryou a blessing to either
have further insights into this or
if you are aware or quickly recognize what your challenges are, you can ask for
this blessing to heal that, to transform those challenges you have either in receiving or giving,
nurturing and caring in your daily business.
You can receive the blessing. You do not need to do anything. You can makea request for that or you just relax and open your heart and soul to receive.
Close your eyes. I will close mine
also. Take a deep breath and relax fully. Open your heart and soul to receive this blessing as it is appropriate for you at this time.

to the business world?
Monday through Friday, I teach a daily TV show on how to transform our dailybusiness and finances on tv.drsha.com. This week, we have been exploring the topic of what
are the benefits for opening our spiritualchannels for
the benefit of our daily business. The feedback has been tremendous. People have realized so much more how it can addvalue to them, how through our spiritual channels we can receivewisdom, guidance, answers, and solutions and much, much more that is way beyond the logical mind and much, much deeper that we cannot access by our mind, our logic, our
intellect, through our thinking. These are some of the benefits and the key to
opening our channels is to develop our foundational
energy centers, and our foundation.
Last Sunday, I did a blog talk radio show on how to develop our Kundalini energy. I have put here the
link where you can listen to that show and you can do that practice. You can start the process of developing your foundation.

Thank you for that powerful practice with Sha's Golden Healing Ball! I
don't have that book, but I placed the Soul Mind Body Science System with its
wonderful image of SGHB on the cover on my Kundalini. I felt golden light shoot
from my kidneys up through my spine, into my brain and bursting up through my

What comes in the way of our relationships? What comes in the way of having unconditional love to others? Serious worry can affect us in situations, relationships, people and more from this life as well as from many of our other life times. This can be regardless whether we are aware of this or not. Therefore, healing can be very profound and subtle.
